Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Housing Scheme: (Housing Scheme)
Under the state government, it is a requirement of housing scheme for those who want to build houses.
Under the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Awas Yojana, there is a 70% increase in the assistance given by the government.
About 20,000 families in the state will be provided this assistance. Thus, species including SC-ST, OBC will get this benefit.
In urban areas, whose income is 1.5 lakhs per annum and 1.20 lakhs per annum in rural areas are covered under this scheme.
In the year 2014, under this scheme, Rs 45,000 was provided for housing assistance, after which the amount was increased to 70 thousand. So now this amount has been increased to 1.20 lakh instead of 70 thousand.

The scheme is designed to buy land to house landless homeless families living below the poverty line. Beneficiaries of already running schemes will also get the benefit of this scheme.
