12 lakh students of the state will be able to get free express or local bus pass for free. Important announcement has been made by Bhupendra Patel government. The state has announced free ST bus passes for students traveling from one city or village to another. That is why all the students going to study away from home will be given free passes by the state government. The scheme to give free passes to all students will start from next semester.

Provision of free pass scheme in the Assembly Budget Finance Minister Kanubha Desai presented the budget in the Assembly House on March 3. In this budget, the state government has provided Rs 205 crore for students. In which it is planned to give free pass to 11 lakh students of the state.
