Gujarat announces recruitment of 2600 teaching assistants, process to begin soon

Gujarat: The government of Gujarat has decide to hire 2600 teaching assistant in the state, however, it said, the official notification will be made available today.
The minister of education in the government of Gujarat, Jitu Vaghani, tweeted that the notification will release today and the application process will begin soon after the announcement.

Out of the total 2600 posts, 1000 teaching assistant posts will be filled for Class 1 to 5 and 1600 posts for Class 6 to 8. For 1600 posts, 750 posts for Maths-Science, 250 for other languages and 600 for social science subject.
The tweet also mentioned that five percent extra marks will be given to widow women candidates in this recruitment process.

The registration process for the Gujarat Teacher Eligibility Test (GTET) 2022 will begin on October 21. The notification regarding the test will be released soon.
The Gujarat TET will be conducted for candidates who are interested in teaching in government-run schools. It will be conducted in two phases: the first one will be for those who are planning to teach first to fifth grade, and the second one will be for those who are planning to teach sixth to eighth grade.
The Gujarat government has not conducted the TET examinations for the last five years. The first test was conducted in March 2018, while the second one was conducted in August 2017.
In September, Jitu Vaghani, the education minister of Gujarat, announced that the recruitment of around 2,500 teachers would be carried out immediately following the approval of the district transfer applications.
“This will satisfy the demand of around 3.5 lakh students who aspire to become a teacher,” Vaghani stated in his tweet. A total of 5,360 seats of teachers in the state schools are vacant, he had informed.

The TET-1 exam was last conducted in 2018 and TET-2 in 2017. A total of 9488 candidates were appointed in the recruitment process. The number of candidates applying for TET exams this year is expected to grow exponentially considering the vacant number of seats and the long haul in conducting exams.
Meanwhile, Various departments in the Gujarat government invited applications for the posts of teachers, typists, and other clerical posts at schools. The eligibility criteria for the posts are different for each position. Candidates are required to check the eligibility criteria for each post before applying.
President Droupadi Murmu while virtually laying the foundation stone and dedicating 11 educational development projects worth Rs 164 crore at the Gujarat University stated that the Gujarat model is becoming a guide for other states and requested all states to adopt each other’s, development model.
“In the past two decades, Gujarat has been in the top states in several development parameters. Through industry, innovation, and infrastructure, Gujarat has set up several examples of inclusive development… If other states, too, learn from each other and implement their success model to move forward, India will ensure its place as a developed country during Amrit Kaal.”, the president had said.

Uma said that she also agreed to the views of Yogi ji and Shivraj ji that it will be started in phases.
She said that she would not stay in any building, because many houses have been ruined by alcohol. Women have to sell mangalsutra for the treatment of drunken husband. Women have to clean utensils in other people's houses.
“My campaign will last till March. BJP fulfilled many promises including 370, Ram Mandir. Therefore, the government will also have to bring a policy on prohibition of alcohol” said Uma.
Uma also congratulated CM Shivraj Singh on improving the current liquor policy. It is the first state in the country where such a thing would have happened.
Uma Bharti said “from 7th November, when Lord Karthik had conquered the Asuras, from that day on, I have decided that I will not stay in my house from 7th November till our goal is achieved. I will live in the jungles. I will stay in a tent. I will stay at places of pilgrimage. I will keep roaming on the roads of Madhya Pradesh, till the government of Madhya Pradesh does not implement the new liquor policy”.
