In the meeting of the core committee chaired by Chief Minister Shri Vijaybhai Rupani, an important decision has been taken in the wider interest of the students of the state.The Chief Minister has decided to give adequate mass promotion to the regular students of Std-10 SSC of Gujarat Secondary Education Board this year in this condition of Corona with the health protection price to keep the students safe in the state in the current transition of global epidemic corona.


The Chief Minister said that even the vaccination of this class of students has not been carried out at present. The state government has decided to cancel the exam in the wider health interest of the students.Education Minister Shri Bhupendrasinhji Chudasama while giving details of the decision taken by Chief Minister Shri Vijaybhai Rupani in the meeting of the core committee said that 12 government, 3 grant in aid, 21 self finance and 5 other schools were found in the state. Students will be given this Mass Promotion.


The State Government has conducted Std. 10 and Std. The decision to postpone the current Corona transition, which was scheduled to take place from May 10 to May 18, has been taken on April 14.


When the state government decided to postpone the exam on April 1, it was announced that after reviewing the transition status of the corona on May 1, the new dates of the exam will be announced giving students at least 15 days to prepare.


Not only that, the state government has earlier announced to give mass promotion to students studying in Std. 1 to 8 and Std. 11 this year as per the status of Corona, he added.
The Education Minister added that the number of coronary cases in the state has been steadily declining over the last two weeks and the number of cases of coronary discharge from hospitals has been increasing.


Nevertheless, the state government under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vijaybhai Rupani is determined to protect the future of the students of the state from Corona in view of the state of transition across the country.


Now, the Chief Minister Shri Vijaybhai Rupani has decided to give adequate mass promotion to the regular students of Std-10 SSC this year after a comprehensive review and deliberation of the status of Koro transition in the state in the core committee meeting, said Shri Chudasama.


As a result of this student friendly decision of the state government, regular students of Std. 10 (SSC) will be eligible for the benefit of mass promotion.The Education Minister said that in the core committee, the Chief Minister has also decided that the examination of repeater students appearing in the standard 10 (SSC) examination will be held after necessary reduction in the cases of corona.


It is important to point out here that such repeater students have been given the opportunity to appear in Std-10 as regular students in previous years but they have not been able to pass the examination successfully.


In this meeting of the Core Committee, Education Minister Shri Bhupendrasinh Chudasama, Energy Minister Shri Saurabhbhai Patel, Minister of State for Home Affairs Shri Pradipsinh Jadeja, Chief Secretary Shri Anil Mukim, Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister Shri K. Kailasanathan, Additional Chief Secretaries Shri Pankaj Kumar, Dr. Rajiv Kumar Gupta, Shri MK Das as well as the Principal Secretary of Health, Smt. Jayanti Ravi and senior secretaries were present.
